| Starting to prepare the land for the new CSA field & Garden... We removed the fencing across from the house and started to dig out the invasives, ROOTS & ALL! Once the invasives are removed... The ground will be turn at a depth of about 2 feet and then tilled and planted. All growing areas together will be enough space to produce vegetable, herbs and flowers for 200 CSA families! There is also plans to erect two greenhouses along the length of the large building. One of them a pit solar greenhouse and the other an attached one... giving us the ability to extend the growing season almost all year long. See plans for details... |
